these two pix are of my buddy's 66 YBA-1 Bassmaster ... I've played this amp and it has *very* nice tone and transient response which I think is strongly attributable to the signal caps used, the same kind (?!) used in mid-late 60's to early 70's Marshall, Park, some Vox and Garnet amps ... also, the OTs on these early YBA-1 seems a step above any other Traynor OT ...

I just reconditioned a 1975 YBA-2b and absolutely love it. I always used Traynors as a teen and thought they were awesome. For whatever reason they seemed to get a bad rap of being "unhip" but I'm glad I've re-discovered them.
Anyways I thought you might be interested in this photo for your archives! Let me know if you want to see the "before" picture!
... Here's the "before" picture !! You can see were I scraped off the sludge to see what kind of amp it was! I took it all apart and cleaned it up, popped a new power tube in there and the thing rocks! (and looks pretty well brand new).
